  5.     1.  SET HIGH GOALS.  You have the ability to accomplish more
  6.         and rise to greater heights.  Set a goal that challenges

  9.     2.  PREPARE AS THOROUGHLY AS YOU CAN.  No worthwhile goal is
  10.         ever achieved without paying the price of preparation -
  11.         preparation of body, mind, and spirit.

  13.     3.  NEVER GIVE IN TO DISCOURAGEMENT.  There are countless people
  14.         with wonderful success stories, but never by anyone who gave
  15.         up.

  17.     4.  STRIVE FOR SELF-CONTROL.  When you "blow your top" you
  18.         lose concentration, productivity, and the ability to be
  19.         creative.  When you lose your self-control, you may or may
  20.         not end up hurting the other person, but you will always
  21.         hurt yourself.

  23.     5.  BE ABSOLUTELY HONEST.  When you cheat, a little deception
  24.         leads to larger deceptions.  Before you know it, you have
  25.         lost both your self-respect and your reputation.

  27.     6.  CHOOSE A GOOD ROLE MODEL FOR YOUR LIFE.  Choose a person
  28.         you can look up to and admire; someone who represents good
  29.         values.

  31.     7.  KEEP YOUR GOALS CLEARLY IN MIND.  A ship without a rudder
  32.         will have a hard time of even getting out of the harbor, not
  33.         to mention ever reaching its desired location.  When you
  34.         maintain a picture of your goals, and believe that you can
  35.         attain them, then you have the best chance of obtaining them.
